Loukotka – slide show on the Internet

Loukotka is a tool for making slide shows on the Internet. The idea is simple: one person (call him story teller) prepares some photos and uploads them to the server. Then he invites some people (call them spectators) to visit his site at, say, 05:00 PM. Then the story teller can use the administration panel to change slides. People looking at the site can see the slides changes. On the site there is also simple forum, so the story teller can tell his story and spectators can commant and ask questions.

installation

1. Copy the whole loukotka directory to your web server.
2. In file chat.html find a line http.open('get', 'http://.... Put there the actual URL of loukotka's file new.php on your webserver.
3. In file index.php find a line http.open('get', 'http://.... Put there the actual URL of loukotka's file pointer.txt on your webserver.
4. Visit .../loukotka/index.php and .../loukotka/extrapol1.php with a browser – your instance of Loukotka should be workable now.
5. Put your own photos to directories img, mini and thumb. You will probably have to resize them before.

This is a very early version of Loukotka. It may be buggy, it may be unperfect. Feel free to improve it or send me suggestions.
